Dr. Emmett was trained in the performance of the scalpel free vasectomy technique by Dr. Doug Stein - the world’s best vasectomist. This training enabled Emmett to set the clinical standards at the world’s highest levels for vasectomy delivery and to date has completed well over a thousand vasectomies.
Dr. Emmett has extensive training in all aspects of men’s health and preventative medicine.
After retiring as a professional rugby player for Leinster and Ireland Dr. Emmett pursued a career in medicine, qualifying from the Royal College of Surgeons. After this he went on to train as a General Practitioner on the Trinity Specialist training scheme for General Practice and is now on the specialist register of the Irish Medical Council.
